My family enjoyed the Savannah location so imagine our pleasant surprise to find out there's one 15 minutes away from where we live. We've been twice in the last week; the food is superb, the service is excellent!!
We're going to start off by saying that this restaurant is very consistent with their food. I have been about 4 times now for lunch through the week. I pay $11.99 and get water. Everything on the buffet that I have tried has always been really good. One of my favorite items is the honey hot wings. The veggies always seem to be seasoned well not just dumped out of a can. They offer a huge salad bar as well as desserts. The service has always been really good too and it is a relaxing type of atmosphere. I seen that on Saturdays they have pig feet and turkey wings. Wow. O know through the week you can get neck bones. I had them too and they are good. Good ol southern eating at its best.
This is a soul food buffet, and the food was tasty. This is real southern cooking at its best. I am a very picky eater however everything that I tried that is pictured was very tasty and good as well as fresh. The mac & cheese tasted home cooked. The vegetables were cooked with turkey meat and they offered smothered turkey wings. I had water with my meal, so I don't know what soft drinks they offer.
